Welcome - about Megan
Megan grew up next to a cornfield in Evansville, Indiana, where she developed a hunger for freedom, a curiosity for nature, and a love for sports. Running barefoot in the summertime, watching thunderstorms and tornadoes in wonderment from her garage, and filling her childhood with soccer, horseback riding, and running, she pursued any sport that she could find time to try.
Megan attended undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, earning a B.A. in German Literature, Economics, and Managerial Studies. Studying economics and business management inspired Megan to travel to Geneva, Switzerland upon graduation in order to pursue an internship in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Covalence, S.A. She then moved on to work at a boutique wealth manager for the next three years at the same time that she pursued a Certificate of Advanced Studies in CSR at the University of Geneva. Thereafter, Megan moved back to the States and lived in New York City for a year and a half of self-exploration while working at Fortress Investment Group LLC (FIG).
It was during this time that Megan decided to devote her time 100% to her true passions of yoga, natural health, and sports, by bringing these passions to others through teaching, and by deepening her knowledge of the human body through Chiropractics. Her fascination with the beautiful engineering of the human body and its malleability and trainability inspired her alignment-based focus of the body with yoga and Chiropractics. In many ways, she sees the two practices as "active" and "passive" approaches to the same end: finding our balance and center, from which our most effective movements and expressions originate.
Megan currently lives and teaches in Paris and studies Chiropractics at the Institut Franco-Europeen de Chiropratique (IFEC) in Ivry-sur-Seine.
