Healing, movement, exploration and creativity are the unifying themes of my life. As a child, I mostly played at writing and performing theatre plays in my neighbour's basement, pretending I was exploring the world on a raft with my brother, and treating rare maladies in a makeshift tent I built with my best friend in pre-school. Growing up in Indiana, I learned to run long distances over the flat horizons, and especially enjoyed athletics, horseback riding, soccer and golf. My mother was vegetarian for many years, so nutrition also became an interest at an early age.
Today, that joy in discovering health and healing traditions continues in a very concrete way, not only in my career, but in my personal life. I took my first yoga class as an adjunct to training for my first marathon during university. Yoga quickly took over as a main interest, not only in the asanas, but the entire body-mind-spirit practice and philosophy. I have now been practicing for over twenty years. After my university studies of Economics and German Literature at Vanderbilt University, I worked for some years in Sustainability and Finance in Geneva and New York City. I first met a Chiropractor while working at an investment firm in Manhattan in 2010. During our visits that were concurrent with my first yoga teacher training, I became fascinated by the body’s functions and how Chiropractic adjustments affect the nervous system, so much so that I decided to pursue a career in health and wellness and started Chiropractic studies and enrolled at the Institut Franco-Européen de Chiropraxie in Paris. At that point, I didn’t know what my professional life would look like, but I knew that i wanted to uncover the mysteries of the human body and the nervous system. And after research, I deemed Chiropractic studies to be the most intensive studies in biomechanics possible. After completing the six years of the degree at the Institut Franco-Européen de Chiropraxie in Paris, I decided to reconnect with my love for running, skiing and cycling by moving and opening an office in the mountains in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. My exploration of wellness continues, and it's a joy to bring you along on the journey, whether that be in the clinical setting, in a workshop, or at a ReBoot intensive. I am particularly interested in the autonomic regulation of the body, nutrition, functional neurology, and performance optimisation for runners and athletes. I am continually training and learning to enrich my practice--whether it is through attending chiropractic technique seminars, studying recent medical research, or exploring wellness traditions from around the world. My work combines my knowledge of the nervous system, sports, movement, nutrition, somatic practices, pranayama (breathwork), and natural health to create a program that works best for you.
